New Years Eve

New Years Eve was a different experience in Norway. They have the same meal for New Years Eve every year: lamb, baked potatoes (without the skin) and calarabi. Let's just say I filled up on baked potatoes...and dessert, which was delicious! We had fruit salad, ice cream and a chocolate dessert. Everyone gets really dressed up for New Years Eve: girls wear nice dresses and guys wear dress pants, dress shirt and a tie. There are also fireworks going off all night! They do celebrate about the same as us though....lots of food and just hanging out together. We hung out at Anna's house and a few of her friends came over too. It was a good New Years Eve.
